Barossa Music Centre Teaching RoomsBarossa Music Centre Waiting AreaOur on-site music school offers private music tuition for students of all ages from beginners through to advanced levels on guitar (all styles), bass guitar, drums & percussion, piano, keyboard, vocals, violin, clarinet & saxophone.

We have 9 air-conditioned teaching studios located on the mezzanine level of the store with a spacious waiting area for parents.

Lessons are run according to the school term with a 30 minute allocated class held weekly. The price of lessons per 10 week term is between $250-$260, which is payable by the 5th week of term.

The musicians of tomorrow haven't been forgotten either with the popular Kindermusik classes being offered for children 12 months - 5 years. For specific details on Kindermusik please contact cath@barossamusic.com.au

Bec Peregi

VOCAL LESSONS

  • Cameron teaches all styles of guitar  - specialises in bass.
  • Being young, he loves his approach to teaching & feels the students respond well.
  • Willing to teach what the students want to learn with personalized lessons.

  • Collaborations with instrumental soloists, vocalists, bands,ensembles and orchestras.

  • Enjoys the challenge of teaching drums and has seen many of them go on to University studies.

Phil has just completed his 20th year of full time teaching at BMC, following science & engineering careers in England to Sydney.  In these 20 years, Phil has played bass and guitar in bands and achieved a Diploma in Classical guitar at the SA Conservatorium  of Music where he is now an examiner in the subject.  Phil teaches all styles of guitar and specialises in acoustic & classical guitar styles.

  • Enjoys watching students progress and just having fun.
  • Originally from the Barossa, playing in many local Adelaide bands.
  • Sebatian is the author of "Beginner to Rock Star" and is currently based in Adelaide.

  • Teaches all styles of guitar, his forte is country , rockabilly & heavy metal.
  • He likes the ‘mentor’ aspect of teaching, this makes it very rewarding.

  • 30 years teaching experience. Over ten years with BMC
  • Has furthered her own study over that time to 7th grade piano, 5th grade theory & 8th grade electronic organ.
  • A member of the Music Teachers Association of S.A.
  • Loves the structure of learning music through exams, especially the AMEB system.
  • Seeing the positive satisfaction from students as they learn and enjoying that with them
